Our Story
About us
Love at First Chapter is a Columbia, SC based book club dedicated to reading and celebrating Black authors and Black stories. Our club meets virtually and in person, with members coming together at the end of each month to discuss our monthly reads, share our thoughts, laugh about our favorite moments, and occasionally debate a character or two.
Throughout the year, we also host bookish experiences, author conversations, community events, and special gatherings that give us even more ways to connect beyond the page.
